With their new lineup of products for this upcoming season, Spidi is proud to introduce their Spidi Net Force H2Out Jacket. Spidi has created quality products for years and with that hard work, they have built up a solid reputation amongst motorcycle riders. For those looking for a Textile Motorcycle Jacket that will fill your sport touring needs year round, the Net Force definitely deserves a look.
First lets take a look at the Spidi Net Force H2Out Jacket Review:
As I mentioned before, the Net Force is claimed to be an all-season jacket with its Dinatech Schoeller mesh panels and removable standalone H2Out liner and thermal liner to keep you dry and warm. The key fact about the Dinatech mesh is that it is better built than your standard mesh with a much higher higher abrasion resistance. Note that the thermal liner has dual sided aluminum lining, a rare feature among thermal liners, which will prevent heat from escaping the jacket giving you that extra heat and comfort you'll need during the colder seasons. This aluminum is the same technology that we first saw in shock blankets and is now permeating some of the motorcycle gear industry.
Trying to further differentiate themselves from the competition, Spidi has actually designed their H2Out liner in a way where it is nearly impossible to rip apart the thermal liner making it very durable and reliable for the length of its existence. The rest of the garment is primarily composed of Spidi's Tenax and Tenax flex material. The primary armor used in the jacket is Spidi's Forcetech armor which they use in all of their higher end products. In addition to shoulder and elbow armor, this jacket is also prepared for a CE level one or two back protector from Spidi and their Warrior chest protector. The sizing on this jacket, like all of Spidi's textile gear, is a Euro cut meaning that you should buy it in a size larger than your American textile jacket size.
All in all, the Net Force is a great option for its price and with Spidi's master craftwork and well known brand, should be a favorite amongst riders everywhere.

Dainese Racing Textile Jacket Review
Dainese has taken one of their best selling and most popular leather jackets, the Dainese Racing Leather Jacket, and made a textile version. What does this mean? You can now get a jacket with the same comfort, cut, colors, and style as the Racing leather but at a much more affordable price and lighter weight. Dainese designed this jacket to the riders looking for a lightweight technical and sport-inspired textile jacket at an affordable price. The Dainese Racing Textile Jacket is certain to be a hit with the crowd of sport and sport-touring riders who do not need all the benefits of a leather but still want to get a great value.
Check out our Dainese Racing Textile Jacket Review:
Most of the outer shell of the jacket is constructed using a strong and abrasion resistant Duratex fabric. There's reflective piping running across the biceps to help improve visibility when riding at night and more reflective material on the back of the jacket along the lower back. The back also has the really cool Dainese Demon logo printed largely from shoulder to shoulder. There's an external chest pocket up on the left side of the pocket and two standard pockets down towards the waist. The inside of the jacket is one inner-pocket and a removable full sleeve thermal liner to help keep you warm during the colder days of riding. The Racing textile jacket comes with CE approved shoulder and elbow protectors while a pocket in the back of the jacket allows for an upgrade to the Dainese Wave G back protector.
This is a jacket that you will mostly be able to get 2 seasons out of. There's not a ton of ventilation on this jacket to take it to those hot summer days where the temperature goes above 90 degrees and there's not really enough coverage on this jacket to protect the rider from the wind and cold when the temperature goes below the 40 degree mark. This jacket is really built as a solid Spring and Fall jacket.
A great choice for the Spring and Fall sport and street rider, the Dainese Racing Textile Jacket is sure meet plenty of riders' needs this riding season.

Dainese Air Flux Textile Jacket Review
Certain to be a big hit among the sport riding and metric crowd this upcoming season, the Dainese Air Flux Jacket complements the Dainese Shotgun Jacket for warm and hot weather riding in the Dainese lineup. The Air-Flux is replete with Boomerang mesh, a high tensile strength mesh fabric for extreme levels of air flow during aggressive hot weather rides.
Check out our Dainese Air Flux Jacket Review:
While the Air Flux is going to flow a ton of air with its high percentage of mesh construction, there is no sacrifice to your safety when riding. In impact areas, Dainese uses a combination of abrasion-resistant XY Stum fabric and extremely high tensile strength D-Stone fabric. In the elbows and forearms, you'll find removable CE rated armor, hard part protectors backed by shock absorbing foam. The back of the jacket features pockets to accommodate the various CE rated back protectors in the Dainese lineup, in the event that you wanted to bulk up the protective elements. With all of this in mind, you can feel ensured that you'll be protected in the event of an unfortunate get-off scenario.
Overall, this jacket is built for comfort and ergonomics in the hot weather. With multiple zones of adjustability, at the waist, wrist and collar, you can ensure proper fit and comfort on long summer rides. There are four external pockets on this jacket in addition to a large exhaust vent at the top of the back for even more airflow.

The Tarmac Air is a 600D outershell with enormous PWRShell Mesh panels that will fly air through this jacket. Knox CE rated armor protects in the shoulders and elbows while the perforated EVA foam back pad can be upgraded to CE rated protector for even higher levels of safety. Where the mesh panels aren't, there is 600D abrasion resistant fabric in all impact regions. AGV Sport Brand Guide & Overview: 2011 Gear!
AGV Sport 2011 Gear is now shipping from RevZilla.com and we're extremely impressed with the new line. AGV Sport is a brand that flies under the radar to a large degree. You don't see their name emblazoned on the back of Moto GP racers' suits, they don't spend millions of dollars sponsoring F1 racers. Instead, they focus on producing extremely high quality sport, street and race gear that comes in at very reasonable price points. From their all-season textile gear to their high-performance leather race suits and everything in between, 2011 AGV Sport gear has us very impressed with the level of quality and detail that goes into their gear.
Check out our AGV Sport Brand Overview and Guide below:
AGV Sport produces high quality textile gear that is built for both street riding and sport touring. The AGV Sport Solare Jacket is a great example of a hot weather street and sport riding jacket that will flow a ton of air yet be protective for summertime motorcycling. On the sport touring side of things, the AGV Sport Tempest Jacket is a great choice with its all-season all-weather versatility thanks to a removable quilted thermal liner and waterproof breathable membrane. The aggressive street riding focus of the AGV Sport Laguna Textile Jacket mirrors its leather jacket and race suit counterparts in design and offers the highest degree of active street riding performance. For pants, the AGV Sport Telluride Pants match the Tempest's all-season all-weather performance while the AGV Sport Solare Pants are a great hot-weather option with their full mesh and ballistic nylon construction.
For leathers, AGV Sport designs gear for the track, the street, and the universal rider. The AGV Sport Laguna Race Suit is the one of two suits we've seen (the other being the AGV Sport Monza Race Suit) that features external titanium shoulder sliders at the $999 or lower price point. The feature set of the Laguna is on par with race suits from other manufacturers that are in the $1500+ price range. For leather jackets, the AGV Sport Laguna Leather Jacket and the AGV Sport Monza Leather Jacket are built for high-level track performance and aggressive street riding. On the more casual side of things, the AGV Sport Pella Leather Jacket is available in perf and non-perf versions and has a universal styling that will work for a Harley guy all the way through to a Ducati rider. The AGV Sport Willow Leather Pants are a great summer sport and track riding option as well. Many third-party tests have been conducted that pit AGV Sport leather and track gear against some of the premium European manufacturers. In those tests, AGV Sport consistently scores as high if not higher in safety and performance than brands that are producing gear that costs nearly double what AGV Sport gear does. Talk about bang for the buck.
We've done a ton of reviews of the AGV Sport Gear in the last week or so, all of which will be available in the very near future on RevZillaTV and at individual AGV Sport product pages at RevZilla.com. Stay tuned for all of these as we are extremely excited to be featuring AGV Sport gear at RevZilla.

Shift Avenger Jacket Review
The Shift Avenger Jacket is by far the most popular textile offering from Shift Racing in addition to being their overall bestselling jacket, period. There are multiple reasons for this. Shift's attention to style detail is a big factor; every garment they produce has its own unique fashion element to it. Shift's gear is also high-performance and offers all the necessary protective elements motorcycle gear needs to have. For a sport riding jacket that you can get multiple seasons out of, the Shift Avenger also has great bang for the buck.
Check out our full Shift Avenger Jacket Review:
Built on a durable and abrasion-resistant 600D poly fabric chassis, the Shift Avenger features proprietary CE rated armor in the shoulders and elbows. There is also a 10mm foam back pad that can be upgraded to a CE back protector for added safety. Inset within the 600D chassis are strategically placed mesh panels, along each shoulder and down the mid-section and an exhaust at the top of the back of the neck. There are also rubberized air scoops on the shoulders so with the quilted thermal vest liner removed, you can flow plenty of air and stay cool in the hot weather. Finally, Stylish rubberized Shift logos adorn the upper arm of each sleeve.
For comfort, the Avenger features accordion stretch panels on the backs of each elbow in addition to large panels that start at the back of the shoulder and wrap under the arm for extreme comfort in the riding position, with this jacket being cut and articulated for the 3/4 or tucked riding position. There is adjustability available at the waist and wrists to cinch the jacket down and get the ideal fit. The collar of the Avenger is lined with neoprene for comfort and to prevent bunching when in the attack position. The Avenger is also available as the Shift Air Avenger Mesh Jacket, designed for mild to hot weather riding.

Icon Overlord Leather & Icon Overlord Textile Jacket Reviews
Brand new for Fall 2010, Icon has released the Overlord series of gear for the aggressive street and sportbike rider. To complement the Icon Overlord Gloves, there is the the Icon Overlord Leather Jacket and the Icon Overlord Textile Jacket. Both jackets feature Icon's brand new Attack Fit, which is an aggressive pre-curving for intense street riding. The leather version utilizes the most premium grade materials that Icon has used to date and the same can be said for the textile counterpart. The textile is built using the same pattern design and engineering principles as the leather, but the materials used offer a significantly lower price point.
Check out our Icon Overlord Leather Jacket Video Review:
The Icon Overlord Leather Jacket is built with Icon's premium Brazilian cowhide to form a 1.2-1.4mm high-grade leather chassis and designed to perform in multiple seasons out of the year. The leather is a blend of perforated and non-perforated for optimal airflow with tightly-woven mesh panels at the front of each shoulder. There is an additional mesh exhaust panel at the back of the neck with perforated leather in the mid-back to keep the air flowing. To extend the seasonality, there is a removable quilted vest liner to maintain insulation in the colder temperature ranges. Utilizing Icon's new Attack Fit, the Overlord is designed to be in the 3/4 or tucked position. To work in conjunction with the pre-curving, there are elasticated stretch panels at the backs of the elbows and backs of shoulders for ease of motion, in addition to stretch panels down the inner arms for airflow and a comfortable fit.
The Overlord Leather uses Icon's proprietary CE rated field armor in the shoulders and elbows and a dual-density foam back pad. This back protection can be upgraded to the Icon Stryker CE Back Protector to further your armor. Icon's attention to detail can be seen with subtle touches like the YKK Autolocking zippers at the wrist cuffs. When these are placed in the open position, the cuffs easily slide open, but when in the locked position, there is absolutely no way to open the cuffs, meaning they'll never fly open from the rushing wind. There is also a full 360ยบ zip to connect this jacket to a pair of motorcycle pants. A great choice for the aggressive sportbike rider with an eye for style, the Icon Overlord Leather Jacket is sure to please the Icon loyalists.
Next is our Icon Overlord Textile Jacket Review:
Utilizing the same R+D and engineering as the leather counterpart, the Icon Overlord Textile Jacket is a water-resistant multi-season sportbike jacket that will keep the air flowing in the warm weather and keep you warm when the temperatures dip in the early Spring and late Fall. Built on the foundation of a durable nylon chassis, the Overlord Textile has ballistic fighter mesh panels in strategic areas, front intake vents with complementary exhausts in the back. There is stretch paneling on the inside of each arm that will help with airflow but also provide a comfortable and expandable fit. Both the backs of the elbows and backs of the shoulders feature elasticated stretch paneling that work to maintain the comfort of the jacket in the attack position.
Icon's CE Rated Field Armor is in the shoulders and the elbows, and the dual-density foam back pad can be upgraded to the Stryker CE Protector. The removable thermal vest liner helps when the temperatures are slightly cooler at the edges of the season. Coming in at $200 less than the leather version of this jacket, the Icon Overlord Textile Jacket is available in six colors and is a definite match for the urban sportbike rider.

REV'IT! CR Jacket: HD Video Review of REV'IT's Retro Jacket
Built with the casual motorcyclist in mind (think moto-guzzi, scooter rider), the REV'IT! CR Textile Jacket brings a vintage style to adorn the protection of a motorcycle jacket. It's a brand new REV'IT! offering that dropped in Spring 2010.

Featuring a protective REV'IT! polycotton Powershell with Lorica reinforcements and Knox CE rated armor with an upgradeable backpad, the REV'IT! CR does not lack in the protective department. REV'IT! added a light coating to the outside of the shell, giving the jacket a matte finish that looks dynamite on or off the bike. The jacket also features a detachable thermal bodywarmer vest and a very comfortable mesh liner, that feels fine being worn on bare skin.

We see this as a great option for the casual scooter or moto-guzzi rider or the rider looking for a retro-styled protective jacket. The CR is also available as women's textile jacket, a women's leather jacket, and a men's leather jacket.
Check out other REV'IT! textile jackets and the full lineup of textile motorcycle jackets that we carry at RevZilla.
Stay stylish,

REV'IT! Turbine Jacket & Turbine Pants HD Video Review
In 2009, REV'IT! set out to make the most indestructible textile hot weather outfit on the market. The result of their toil is the REV'IT! Turbine Jacket & Pants, the premier protective ADV Touring mesh combo out there.

A veritable monster of a combination, the Turbine outfit's outershell is constructed of 500D & 750D Powershell with 1000D Cordura reinforcements and heavy-duty (but breathable) Dynax mesh. SuperFabric, panels of laser-welded ceramic plates, can be found in the impact areas, offering 14x the abrasion-resistance of Kevlar. Upgrading from their basic Knox armor, REV'IT! utilized ProLife CE protection at the shoulders, knees & elbows. ProLife's protection is in line with a CE Level 2 rating, although they only use that scale for back protection. Perforated Temperfoam comes stock as the backpad, but it is upgradeable to either the Knox back protector or the SAS-TEC back protector.

So that's the protection side of things. You can be assured that you'll be safe with this outfit on. Next up is airflow. I already talked about the Dynax mesh panels. They are everywhere in this outfit. You have four large panels in the chest, panels that run the entirety of the inner arm on each sleeve, enormous panels on the front and back of each leg, and a mammoth exhaust panel on the back of the jacket. The best part about the breathability is the fact that the mesh itself is tightly-woven for superior impact protection. Like I said earlier, this is the summertime textile outfit.
RevZilla is the #1 North American REV'IT! dealer.
Check out its competitors in our mesh motorcycle jackets and summer motorcycle pants section on over at RevZilla.com.

REV'IT! Sirocco Jacket: RevZilla Exclusive
The Sirocco debuted in 2007 and immediately became a big deal in the ADV Touring crowd. Unfortunately, REV'IT! delivered some bad news at the end of 2009 when they told us they were closing it out. We know a 3/4 length mesh with all-season versatility is a much needed commodity in the ADV crowd, so naturally, we were somewhat disappointed.
We got on the phone to Holland. We asked REV'IT! if they'd allow us to bring the Sirocco back exclusively for RevZilla. We are thrilled to announce that they did exactly that. We brought in a truckload of these jackets to satiate the RevZilla ADV touring bunch. We're the only guys with them. Consider it a RevZilla Exclusive.
Quick breakdown: the Sirocco is built for hardcore adventuring. A 3/4 length, 3.5 season jacket, it features heavyweight mesh paneling alongside the REV'IT! Powershell. It's gonna flow a ton of air. It will also keep you warm and dry with its dual-liner system: one is a full-sleeved detachable thermal, the other is REV'IT's Hydratex® liner, a fully waterproof/breathable removable membrane. It has ProLife® CE rated shoulder & elbow protection, so you're covered from a protection standpoint as well.
We sponsored Jack Broomall on a 12,000-mile trip for charity from Philadelphia to Anchorage, Alaska. He wore a RevZilla-provided Sirocco. Check out some photos of that below.
Take a look, we bet you won't be disappointed. If you want to compare to other ADV jackets, visit our section on textile motorcycle jackets.
