Riders who’ve developed respect for the sport, understand protection is key. The right protection will add years to an enduro rider’s life on the trails. Enduro trails enjoy starting their days off with hearty breakfasts consisting of knees, hips, lower backs and ankles. After all, breakfast is the most important meal of the day.
Alpinestars hates seeing their customers eaten for breakfast, which is why they created the Tech 7 Enduro boots. The Alpinestars Tech 7 Enduro Boots take protection to the next level. It’s easy to throw hard TPU protectors at boots and send them down the assembly line. Alpinestars started with the ankles and worked their way out. Ankles tie everything together. Specially designed TPU ankle protectors were implemented into the Tech 7s. They offer extreme ankle protection and support. The ankle protectors connect the upper and lower portions of the Tech 7s and allow the boots to flex front to back but not side to side. They’re actually comfortable to walk in over short distances.
Alpinestars Tech 7 Enduro Boots Review:
There is more TPU protection on the tops and sides. The boots comes with rubberized exterior panels on the insides of the legs for better grip against the bike. The buckles are a dream to use. They have a specially designed track that guides them in place with little effort. Their moisture-wicking interior is plush and durable for years of wear and tear. Did I mention they look killer! Alpinestars will be offering them in six colorways.
We have seen these features in the previous version. What’s new? Without changing an already great design, Alpinestars felt the soles needed some love. They redesigned the soles with an all-terrain tread pattern and compound. In addition, they incorporated replaceable sole inserts in the high-traffic areas.
If you’re a serious rider constantly pushing your skills, the Alpinestars Tech 7 Enduro boots will give you the support needed to last all day and the protection needed to survive a hearty breakfast.
