Bell Qualifier DLX Helmet: Big Strides
Lumuel Gulliver has nothing on the RevZilla gear specialists. For real. At the moment they are on their way back from the International Motorcycle, Scooter, and E-Bike Fair where they have seen the best of what’s new, what’s fun, and what is worth reporting from the moto world. From 300hp bikes to the very best in helmets, apparel, and accessories, they saw it… rocked it… and are ready to keep you informed so that you can maximize your time on two wheels.
One of the hottest items from the show is the new Bell Qualifier DLX Helmet. Word on the street is that this lid will have an upgraded interior over the original Bell Qualifier and will allow for a more plush, climatically neutral experience while on the bike. Additionally, this version of the helmet will reportedly come with a free transitions face shield, which is a huge convenience for any motorcyclist who spends a lot of time in the saddle or rides at times when the lighting situation changes more often than they care to switch shields. That being said, the biggest news regarding this helmet is that it comes with a trap door option that allows for an incredibly easy installation of the Sena SMH-10 communication system! As a company who realizes that we like our options, Bell has also designed an adapter that will allow the new Qualifier DLX to be compatible with the Cardo Q3 if that is more to your liking.
For riders looking at entry-level helmets with a lot of options, the Bell Qualifier has been a staple for years. There are few players in the game who have been doing it for as long or as well as Bell and if the news from INTERMOT is any indication, it certainly appears that they have no intention of slowing down.
Have fun out there, be safe, and as always...
Enjoy the ride,
Juice
