If style didn’t matter, all of the new Ferrari’s would come off of the line with no paint and zero detail work… eh, actually, that would still be kind of cool. Like a Mad Max supercar. Somebody should make that happen. Anyway, to get back on topic, the point remains nonetheless. A great base is where you need to start, and there is no replacing that, but once you get that locked down, there is nothing wrong with venturing out to express your own unique aesthetic.
When it comes to value, features, and bang-for-your buck in a motorcycle helmet, there are not many out there who can compete with the EXO-R410 from Scorpion. It does a lot of things very well, and incorporates aspects such as a super simple shield change system, EverClear no-fog faceshield, and both a Snell M2015 and DOT safety rating. So the base is definitely there. With the Scorpion EXO-R410 Bushido Helmet however, they have added to it with a totally unique, attention-grabbing graphic. Incorporating the spirit of the samurai into the outer shell with the opposing forces of water and fire, the Bushido graphic showcases sword wielding warriors and dastardly dragons intently set on a warpath with the same focus as you attack the road ahead.
Scorpion EXO-R410 Bushido Helmet Review:
For a more subtle infusion of style into a staple of the open road, the Scorpion EXO-CT220 Bixby Helmet is here. As an open-face helmet that is heavy on features, the CT220 is a hugely popular option in the Scorpion lineup. With the choice of rocking a faceshield, visor, or nothing at all, this is a ¾ helmet with a variety of riding combinations dependent upon how you are feeling that day. The Bixby graphic itself works to augment the simplicity of the EXO-220 and adds a uniqueness without screaming “yo, everyone… LOOK AT ME!”
Scorpion EXO-CT220 Bixby Helmet Review:
Scorpion does a lot of things incredibly well. Providing value and quality are both at the top of the list. With the introduction of the Bushido and Bixby graphics, they are working to offer great style as well.
Have fun out there, be safe, and as always…
Enjoy the ride,
