Dainese Archivio D1 Perforated Leather Jacket

Dainese Archivio D1 Perforated Leather JacketAt long last, Dainese is bringing us a perforated version of one of their new retro-styled jackets, the Dainese Archivio D1 Perforated Leather Jacket. Over the past few seasons, we have seen an influx of riding gear that looks like casual clothing, but so far there has been one glaring omission with the lack of perforated leather options. Luckily, that is changing for 2017.

Sharing its construction with the non-perforated Archivio D1 jacket, the Archivio D1 Perforated jacket also uses a vintage cowhide construction paired with soft Pro-Shape armor in the shoulder and elbows, which is rated to CE Level 1. There is a pocket for an optional back protector as well, and there are jacket-to-belt connection loops. On the inside, you get a soft cotton lining, 2 external pockets with 1 internal pocket, and adjustment at the neck and hips.

Dainese Archivio D1 Perforated Leather Jacket Review:

We are always happy to see riding gear that blends function with form, and works as well off the bike as it does when riding. The more such options we see hitting the market, the better, and especially when that gear offers a hot-weather perforated option as well. We welcome the 2017 Dainese Archivio D1 Perforated Leather Jacket as one of the first options leading this charge.
