No, no, these are not the official touring boots of the Spanish band by the same name. They are, however, a touring boot of a different kind altogether. Built for maximum breathability, the Dainese Solarys Gore-Tex Boots (and Air boots as well) are made for riders throughout the world looking for the utmost in comfort for long treks in the saddle.
With a microfiber construction throughout the upper, the Dainese Solarys Air Boots, and their Gore-Tex counterparts, are backed by ankle cups, as well as a reinforced shin, toes, and heels. In the Gore-Tex version, the boots feature an extended comfort GTX liner as well as breathable textile panels on the top of the foot, as well as the lateral side and the achilles area. For the Air version, the Solarys boots strip the Gore-Tex and add in mesh fabric over the whole boots (minus the toe, heel, and shin). Additional features of the Dainese Solarys touing boots include a slim profile, great reflectivity, and a CE category 2 certification.
