Arai VX Pro 4 Helmet: For Explorers

Every good explorer needs a good lid. It’s true. Whether it be the tri-fold pirate hats of yesteryear or the newest Gen III Helmet Mounted Display System “Magic” helmets (only about $600,000 each) for pilots of the F-35, the right helmet is key to making the most of your endeavors.

Arai VX Pro 4 Motorcycle HelmetThe new Arai VX Pro 4 helmet is the next iteration of the hugely popular VX Pro-3 and come to the game with a substantial array of upgrades that make a big difference. With a new peak visor that is 14mm longer and 5mm wider than before, you will get a greater level of roost deflection for those times when you are tearing up the track or the trail. Re-sculpted cheek pads are another upgrade and now do a better job of gripping the jaw snugly for superior fit while larger air outlets along the peak work to reduce the lift effect that can strain your neck. Two additional features of mega-value are the inclusion of a goggle strap locator on either side of the eye port and a re-configured chinbar screen. With the former drastically increasing the ease of operation, the latter upgrades functionality by giving you more room, as well as the option to fully remove the vent adjuster and gain maximum airflow.

For starters, all the external hard parts are designed to break away from the super-strong shell. You won't have to worry about your peak getting caught on a branch and create a whole mess of problems for you and your spine. A redesigned interior means the VX Pro 4 will feel like you have a kitten on your face . . . only it isn’t a kitten, but one of the best dirt helmets in existence. An extremely wide eyeport lends to great panoramic field of view and the ability to accommodate even the largest goggles.  Redesigned venting, including an all new chin vent, are intended to keep your noggin cooler than ever.

Arai VX Pro 4 Helmet Review:

Is it Snell? Yup! DOT? Of course. Do we know a lot about it? Not really. You see, it was quietly disclosed to us just a few hours ago. We’re trying to spread the word faster than soccer’s popularity in the US of A (which isn’t very difficult).  As far as we can tell the VX Pro 4 will retain many of the popular features of the 3, but with all the improvements mentioned above. The obligatory (kitten-like) removable liners are washable. A fiberglass composite shell will keep the weight down. Emergency-release cheek pads will keep people from talking about “that guy they knew” who got hurt on a motorcycle “that one time.”

They’re so dangerous!

And because they’re so dangerous, you need the most premium of premium helmets - the Arai VX Pro 4. Stay tuned for more info, more pictures, and more kitten metaphors!
