The Sirocco debuted in 2007 and immediately became a big deal in the ADV Touring crowd. Unfortunately, REV'IT! delivered some bad news at the end of 2009 when they told us they were closing it out. We know a 3/4 length mesh with all-season versatility is a much needed commodity in the ADV crowd, so naturally, we were somewhat disappointed.
We got on the phone to Holland. We asked REV'IT! if they'd allow us to bring the Sirocco back exclusively for RevZilla. We are thrilled to announce that they did exactly that. We brought in a truckload of these jackets to satiate the RevZilla ADV touring bunch. We're the only guys with them. Consider it a RevZilla Exclusive.
Quick breakdown: the Sirocco is built for hardcore adventuring. A 3/4 length, 3.5 season jacket, it features heavyweight mesh paneling alongside the REV'IT! Powershell. It's gonna flow a ton of air. It will also keep you warm and dry with its dual-liner system: one is a full-sleeved detachable thermal, the other is REV'IT's Hydratex® liner, a fully waterproof/breathable removable membrane. It has ProLife® CE rated shoulder & elbow protection, so you're covered from a protection standpoint as well.
We sponsored Jack Broomall on a 12,000-mile trip for charity from Philadelphia to Anchorage, Alaska. He wore a RevZilla-provided Sirocco. Check out some photos of that below.
Take a look, we bet you won't be disappointed. If you want to compare to other ADV jackets, visit our section on textile motorcycle jackets.
