HJC CS-R2 Helmet: Brand New for 2011

HJC CS-R2 Thunder Helmet
The HJC CS-R2 Helmet is a brand new offering from HJC Helmets for Fall 2011. Replacing the CS-R1, the CS-R2 represents HJC's entry-level helmet for the street and spirited sport rider. Touting DOT certification, the CS-R2 features a lightweight and protective polycarbonate composite shell that keeps the weight under the 3.5-pound mark, protects from impact, and has solid aerodynamics and stability. The advanced ventilation system features open/close chin and forehead intake vents that feed two rear exhausts for high airflow. Inside, the brushed Nylex interior is completely removable and washable, providing soft and plush comfort over the long haul.

Lets check out the HJC CS-R2 Helmet Review:

The HJC CS R2 Helmet also incorporates HJC's HJ-09 anti-fog face shield which features a scratch-resistant coating and blocks 95% or more of harmful UV rays. This shield also uses the Rapidfire Shield Replacement System, which allows for extremely fast removal and install of shields, without the need for tools. Other niceties of this brand new helmet are the pockets at the ears for bluetooth communication system speakers, and very wide eyeport which enables full range of view. Taking what was already a popular entry-level lid and making design improvements is always a good thing in our eyes. Stay tuned for our detailed video breakdown which will be coming soon!
