REV'IT! Dominator GTX and Cayenne Pro Gloves: A Grip Above

Tony - Content Coordinator

A good pair of summer gloves is tough to come by. While jackets and pants have a lot of opportunities to work in functional aspects such as vents and layers, gloves have to play by a different set of rules. As they are smaller and necessitate a more snug fitment, there really is no option of having vent zippers or removable waterproof liners to adjust to the weather. Selecting the right option for your ride is crucial.

REV'IT! Dominator GTX Motorcycle GlovesBuilt to pair up with the Dominator GTX Jacket and Pants, the all new REV’IT! Dominator GTX Gloves are held to the absolute highest standard in metacarpal protection, comfort, and functionality. By utilizing the 100 percent waterproof Gore-Tex fabric, these gloves come with a lifetime “keep  your hands dry” guarantee that tops all others in the industry. Another key factor in using the Gore-Tex brand is the high level of comfort that comes with the balanced heat transfer and optimum moisture management that they provide. Various leathers have been chosen for the outer shell’s construction, each for its own unique features in the contribution to the whole. On the palm of the gloves, REV’IT! has gone with an advanced grip option that will really work well to improve your grip no matter what climatic conditions you encounter.

REV'IT! Cayenne Pro Motorcycle GlovesWhile the Dominator GTX gloves are lightweight and warm-weather minded, the fact that they are waterproof means that by definition they are also windproof… which is not necessarily the best in really hot weather. If you are more interested in a non-waterproof, hot-weather glove, then the new REV’IT! Cayenne Gloves are a better bet. Super light in construction and completely built of goatskin, these gloves have a very comfortable feel and perforation throughout to allow plenty of wind to flow through and cool your hands. As with the Dominator GTX Gloves, the Cayenne Pro has hard-shell TPU protectors at the knuckles and along the back of the hand.

Different riders all find different options to their liking. Looking ahead to the newest glove options from REV’IT!, it is obvious that a lot of thought went into the design process in order to give motorcyclists the freedom to choose the best glove for them.

Have fun out there, be safe, and as always…

Enjoy the ride,

Juice
