REV'IT! Replica One Piece Race Suit: From the Best
So much info came from INTERMOT this year. The international bike show is kind of like the Oscars for motorcycle design/fashion and our guys were there for it all. Some of the most exciting gear and motorcycles that the world has to offer in the coming year were released there, and REV’IT!’s 2015 lineup, as always, did not disappoint. Though it was initially announced at the show, it is just now being prepped for introduction to the international market.
For the track rider looking for a suit that is directly descended from the top-of-the-line MotoGP editions, the REV’IT! Replica Race Suit is going to be a great option. From the high-quality Monaco cowhide for a resilient, yet incredibly comfortable feel, to the 3D interior mesh that will allow air to flow better throughout, this is a suit that has thought of your track day from all angles. Additional comfort is gained through mobility, as the suit will come with accordion stretch panels on the upper arms, as well as PWR/Kevlar stretch fabric in strategic places throughout. Both of these features will work together to allow riders to enjoy a less restricting experience on the bike. Naturally, as we would expect from REV’IT!, this suit will come with CE-rated armor at the elbows, shoulders, and knees, as well as Tryonic Seesoft CE-Level 1 hip protectors. If you would like an upgraded back protector, the suit takes a Seesoft RV Level 2. Finally, and one of the coolest features, the Replica One Piece Suit has the ability to holster a hydration pack within the speed hump, so that you are always hydrated and ready for your next lap.
If you are a track day enthusiast looking for a well vented, intricately designed, one-piece race suit, REV’IT! has been thinking of you. From the release of the Replica Suit at INTERMOT, we can definitely see that they have put a great deal of research and design work into their newest track option, and it will be exciting to see it arrive soon.
Have fun out there, be safe, and as always…
Enjoy the ride.
