Soooo, there are luxury cars and then there is a Ferrari Laferarri. There are airplanes, and there is the F-22 Raptor. There are fancy dinners in the finest accommodations, and there is peanut butter and jelly sandwiches with a case of macro-brew and a backyard slip-n’-slide. The point is, there is really good, and then there is that level that goes beyond even great. That is the place where the AGV Pista GP lives. It is so far ahead that it is in its own class entirely. A class that takes a hefty bank account and a true love of cranium containers to move into.
The AGV Pista GP Gran Premio Helmet is what you would expect out of an Italian, super premium race graphic. Red stripes set atop a Gunmetal base give the Gran Premio a refined touch with a hint of wild somewhere within. It confident like a 50 year old, self-made mogul is confident. It has been built for this from the ground up. It has prepared. It knows that the game is chess, not checkers -- and it only plays to win. When other graphical helmets scream it from the top of their lungs, the Gran Premio knows that real power and influence means that it doesn’t have to. In that simple truth, there is all the difference.
Much the same as the Gran Premio gets it, so too does the AGV Pista GP Mimetica Helmet. Quiet confidence personified, it is attention grabbing due to its absence of asking for attention. Designed specifically to feature the artistry of the carbon fiber helmet shell itself, the Mimetica graphic intermixes a bit of Urban Camo that resides, seemingly suspended in thin-air, over a clear coat. This is a take-no-prisoners kind of helmet that only rolls onto the track with one purpose -- to win.
If you are looking to procure one of the new Pista GP graphics, congrats! You are obviously doing quite well for yourself, as these bad boys come with a pretty robust price tag. You are also, in all likelihood, a phenomenal motorcyclist who is putting yourself out there often in search of the fastest lap times and ever-improving performances, and for that you get a hi-five as well.
Have fun out there, be safe, and as always…
Enjoy the ride,
