When making an update to an already successful staple of an industry, it takes a fine attention to detail, the foresight to look ahead, and the guts to take the jump. Scorpion has long been a champion of all three things, so it should be no surprise that the new Scorpion SGS MK II Gloves are swooping in for this season with a revamped set of features for the Spring of 2016.
The MKII gloves make use of a full Goatskin construction that has been re-done since the last iteration which used a Kangaroo/Goat mixture. While the inclusion of TPR rather than the previously utilized Superfabric was an interesting choice, the fact that Carbon knuckles have been incorporated to replace the previously plastic ones on the original was definitely a nice touch. Additional features include larger foam panels at the back of the floating knuckle, accordion stretch for increased mobility of the fingers, and a tech touch-screen finger that allows you to interact with many electronic devices without removing your gloves.
Scorpion SGS MK II Gloves Review:
Things change. That is just the way it goes. So it only makes sense that the Scorpion MK2 gloves have seen their own evolution as well. They have added some features and removed others, but through it all Scorpion’s commitment to quality gear with advanced features at an affordable price has remained.
Have fun out there, be safe, and as always…
Enjoy the ride,
Juice
