Nobody makes motorcycle jackets like Dainese makes motorcycle jackets. Over the years they have earned a reputation as industry-leaders, and rightfully so. Innovation and style, all with an ardent focus on improving the experience of motorcycling for riders throughout the world. Looking at the lineup of new options for the Fall of 2016, it comes as no surprise that they have introduced a handful of new chart-toppers.
The Dainese Street Master Jacket is a Leather/Textile option that builds on the Dainese legacy of taking things to the next level. With the Street Master Leather-Tex Jacket, riders get a pioneer at the tip of the proverbial spear when it comes to a hybrid of multiple motorcycling disciplines. Aggressively designed to more resemble a go-fast sporty-style, the Dainese Street Master Leather-Tex Jacket incorporates the versatility features that would be expected of a sport-touring motorcycle jacket as well. In addition to the sleek styling, the incorporation of cowhide inserts and Mugello fabric creates a great balance between abrasion-resistance, mobility, weight, and comfort. At the same time, features such as a removable thermal liner, internal composite protectors, external polyurethane rigid shoulder protectors, jacket-to-trousers zipper connection, and coated air vents at the chest/back all add to the richness-of-features seen in the Dainese Street Master Jacket.
Dainese Street Master Jacket Review:
For a slightly less aggressive look that adds in the functionality of a waterproof liner, the Dainese Laguna Seca D1 D-Dry Jacket is also available. With a sporty, performance-oriented cut, the Laguna Seca D1 Jacket makes use of Dainese’s proprietary D-Dry membrane to stop water in its tracks, while the external shell that is constructed of a highly-durable D-Synth 350 fabric stands up to the rigors of the road. While the Laguna Seca D1 is a relatively lightweight jacket, the inclusion of a removable thermal liner means that riders can see the functionality of this jacket extended further into cool weather comfortably. Additionally, the Laguna Seca D1 D-Dry also features air inlets on the sleeves/back, reflective inserts, and the ability to take either a Dainese Wave G1 or G2 back protector.
Moving into the Fall of 2016, Dainese continues to deliver on the high-quality, high-value, high-style front with regard to motorcycle jackets. But that is to be expected. It’s what they do.
Have fun out there, be safe, and as always…
Enjoy the ride,
Juice
