Olympia Jackets: Vincent and Bishop

Tony - Content Coordinator

Over the years Olympia has made their name as a highly functional, utility-driven brand that generally stayed within the textile market. With the introduction of their new Bishop and Vincent jackets, however, they have taken a step into the deep end of premium leather jackets that look great, perform consistently, and continue to deliver on the high-value promise that has made Olympia so popular with ardent riders.

Olympia Vincent Leather Motorcycle JacketIn looking at the Olympia Vincent Leather Jacket it is easy to see where their design ethos has come from. Classically inspired and minimally branded, the Vincent Jacket is an entry-point into high-quality leather motorcycle jackets. In true Olympia fashion, they have crafted a jacket that can be relied on for many rides to come and that at the same time will come in at a relatively moderate price point for the category. Additional features of which to take note on the Olympia Vincent Jacket include a 1.1mm - 1.2mm top grain Pebble finish outer shell, cool mesh airflow lining for a comfy interior, and removable CE Motion Flex protection at the elbows shoulder, and back.

Olympia Bishop Leather Motorcycle JacketTaking a step up in both style, throwback mentality, features, and price, the Olympia Bishop Jacket launches the brand into a category with some of the industry’s most notable vintage-inspired leather jackets. The best part about the Bishop jacket, aside from how it looks and performs, is that it does all of those things mentioned above at a substantially lower price point than many of the other options in the realm. Just as with the Vincent, the Olympia Bishop Jacket makes use of CE protection, YKK zippers, a full sleeve Insulex thermal liner, and cool mesh interior. The main difference between the two jackets, aside from stylistic cut and overall aesthetic, can be seen in the Lux waxed finish to the Bishop Jackets 1.1mm - 1.2mm top grain cowhide outer shell that gives it a distinctive look (and feel).

Olympia Bishop Jacket Review:

Never ones to leave unbathed trails unbathed, Olympia has taken a new leap in the Fall of 2016 with the introduction of 2 new leather jackets that further advance their lineup. It is a very cool direction in which to go, and one that will provide riders with new options at great prices relative to the competition.

Have fun out there, be safe, and as always…

Enjoy the ride,

Juice
