REV'IT! Nanuk Jacket & Pants: A Solid Base

Tony - Content Coordinator

Any film school riders in the house? If you are like me, and you sat through a “History of the Documentary” class at any point, then you undoubtedly knew what this gear was about as soon as you saw Nanuk (though the historically significant film used the Nanook variation). If you haven’t seen the film, it’s a documentary about a man living in the Arctic. So yeah, it’s cold.

REV'IT! Nanuk Motorcycle JacketThe REV’IT! Nanuk Jacket is a base layer top that will work to help keep you warm when the temperatures drop. If you reside in the northern latitudes, that would be right about now. This item will undoubtedly be moisture-wicking and incredibly comfortable. One of the most important things that you can do to stay warm on the bike is layer properly. Finding the right base is the best place to start.

To round out the combo, the REV’IT! Nanuk Pants are also available. Everyone thinks of their cold upper body, however, on the bike, you may not consider your legs until it is too late. While you are in the riding position, it can be hard to notice, but the instant you go to reach out your legs at a stop and they are numb from the cold, you will quickly have an appreciation for the value of additional warmth throughout the entirety of your body.

If you ride in cooler weather, props to you. It is tough, and it is only for the most ardent and skilled motorcyclists among us. Should you trek out for a late fall, winter, or early spring ride, check out the Nanuk series from REV’IT!

Have fun out there, be safe, and as always…

Enjoy the ride,

Juice
