Florida, warm weather, sunny skies, and motorcycles… lots and lots of motorcycles. It is also home to the AIMExpo where the RevZilla gear experts were fully immersed in the ongoings of the industry as they stayed hot on the trail of all of the newest and most notable additions to the world of motorcycle gear for 2016. The information came hard and fast, and there was a lot to be excited about, but without question, the most anticipated and sought after bit of info was regarding the new lineup of Bell Star helmets.
While the differences in each helmet are covered in a previous blog, the hotness of graphical options is yet another piece of the puzzle for which we look forward to putting in place. For the Bell Race Star edition, the Triton and Ace Cafe Speed Check are two options to be pumped about.
The Bell Race Star Triton Helmet is going to be fashioned like a traditional “fast” graphic. By that, we mean that the helmet is designed to convey the essence and visual appeal of speed, even when sitting still. This is done by the incorporation of high-contrast colors and crisp lines. With the Triton graphic, the Bell team has designed a look that is styled in that fashion, but at the same time does not hide the undertone of the Carbon shell that is a beauty all its own. To provide options for different riding aesthetics, the Triton will come in Black/Silver, Red, or Blue/Yellow color combinations.
Bell Race Star Helmet Review:
For the Bell Race Star Ace Cafe Speed Check Helmet, the design team at Bell went in a somewhat different direction. The Cafe Speed Check is all about letting the Carbon shell speak for itself. It is a voice that speaks loud. To highlight the intricate Carbon fiber shell structure, the artists at Bell incorporated slight Gold streaks that stand out just enough to augment the visual texture without detracting from the essence of the helmet itself. Also, for the fans of the classics, the Ace Cafe of London seal has been subtly placed along the chinbar as a nod to the history behind the name of the helmet itself.
Have fun out there, be safe, and as always…
Enjoy the ride,
Juice
