Klim TK100 Helmet and Graphics
As one of the best innovators in the moto industry, Klim has trekked into new territory as much with their brand as the riders who wear their gear trek into, well, unknown territory. For the Fall of 2016, Klim has again taken this plunge as they introduce a new modular motorcycle helmet.
With the Klim TK1200 Skyline Helmet, riders will see a pure carbon outer shell construction that meets both DOT and ECE safety regulations. As can be expected for a pure carbon motorcycle helmet, the TK1200 comes in at an incredibly light weight, and thus, it will work well to reduce neck fatigue on long rides. With regard to headshape, the Klim TK 1200 will be geared towards Intermediate Ovals, and will initially launch with 2 solid colors, and two graphics. Additional features of the TK1200 Modular helmet include 4 intakes, 3 exhausts, external 3M Scotchlite reflectivity, and Klimatek interior lining for a plush fit and feel. Oh yeah, and it comes with a Transitions and Pinlock faceshield inseert in the box, so it is an instant value-add.
Additionally, for riders who want to spice up the lightweight modular goodness, Klim has also introduced the Klim TK1200 Illumino Hi-Viz Helmet. If Hi-Viz really isn’t the way riders want to go, however, there is another option with the Klim TK1200 Tech Helmet, which is a more subtle graphic. Either way, regardless of where you land on the aesthetic spectrum, the simple fact remains, the Klim TK1200 Modular Helmet is an exciting addition to an already exciting Klim landscape.
In the end, Klim is a brand that doesn’t let “the way it is” dictate the way they are going to be next. With the TK1200, TK1200 Illumino, and TK1200 Skyline helmets, a new horizon is exactly where they are headed.
Have fun out there, be safe, and as always…
Enjoy the ride,
Juice
