Dainese Nico D-Dry Jacket Review

The Dainese Nico is Italian inspired jacket with a sport/city look.  With crisp, clean lines, its high-tenacity polyamide fabric is water-resistant and breathable. A removable, thermal lining and breathable, waterproof D-Dry membrane makes it a great three season selection. The sleeves have highly stylized reflectivity panels with CE-rated armor in the shoulders and elbows.

Rubberized buttons down the front prevent tank scratches. A microfiber, wicking thermal collar adds protection and warmth. The D-Dry flap in front keeps water from getting into the zipper. The jacket has vents in front at the shoulders, across the back and back sides. There are two waterproof outside pockets and pockets for additional armor. The Shark Race-R Pro is replacing the RSR 2, big advances in function, style and technology.  Built for Moto GP, for the race tuck positioning, super aerodynamic and lightweight weighing 3.6 oz. It fits more of a rounded oval head shape. Shark Race-R Pro has 6 intakes: 2 position spoiler, brow vents to the shield, 2 chimneys on top, 2 vents in back. Extactors help to flow air and vaccum warm moist air away from your head. There are frontal extractors along the jawline, winglets along the back, a chimney extractor plus the double blade spoiler with extractors.

This is the most advanced shell in the Shark lineup: made with aramid and carbon fibers. As with the Vision-R and Speed-R in the new line of Shark helmets, the Race-R-Pro has a panoramic aperture with heavy duty polycarbonate face shield with an auto seal system for better soundproofing. It offers many of the other features from this line: double d ring magnetic chin strap, comfort, removable and washable, antibacterial liner, neck roll with neoprene sections for elasticity and water resistance, breath guard, chin curtain and easy fit glasses system.

Shark Speed-R Helmet Review

The Shark Speed-R in the new line of helmets from Shark Helmets, has the best features of the Shark Race-R Pro (Moto-GP race helmets), but a sportier version of the Shark Vision-R. It has a fiberglass composite shell, intermediate oval head-shape, more aero-dynamic venting, chin vent, anti-fog and anti-scratch shield. There are a range of 6 different optional cheek pads if needed with easy-fit glasses system. The liners are antimicrobial and the fleece, lining are softer than in the Vision-R with the addition of a neck roll.
